Steel workshop — Brazil

Pieces
in steel,
made by hand.

Furniture, bathtubs and objects cut, shaped and oxidised at the bench, in the workshop's own time. No industrial mould: the surface of each piece keeps its own history.

Working steel through manual processes, seeking to guide and control the marks oxidation leaves over time, in the open air of the workshop.

Galpón is an open workshop: pieces are born in the sketchbook, cross the bench and come out with their seams in plain sight. Oxidation is not hidden — it is guided, patch by patch, to the exact tone, and then sealed with varnish.

These are pieces made to last and to age well — bathtubs, furniture and objects — drawn case by case with the person ordering. Listen and understand, so you can create.

Manifesto
“Be a maker, design and function.”

Every order starts with a conversation. The piece is drawn for your space, your use, your time — and it leaves the bench signed by the person who made it.
