base Ø 120 cm

A metre and a half across, fifty centimetres deep. The simplest geometry in the series — and the hardest to shape.
A basin looks simple until you try to make one.
The Bacio gives up the drawn silhouette and keeps the essential form: a 150 cm circle narrowing to a 120 cm base. No cut-out, no curve to disguise anything — the piece is the sheet and the weld.
That is exactly why it is the most demanding piece on the bench. A straight wall forgives; a circular wall exposes any variation in radius. The accuracy has to come from the eye and the hand, point by point around the whole body.
Low and wide, it changes how you use it: instead of lying down, you sit and spread out. It is the piece that most calls for open air — a veranda, a deck, the timber floor of the workshop.
Ø 150 cm
Sketch, dimensions and decisions — the piece drawn before it exists.
Cutting and shaping the steel by hand, seam by seam.
The reaction of the metal guided to the right tone — the signature of the piece.
The surface sealed at its exact moment, to last.
The original piece, photographed in the workshop and on the deck — no studio, no retouching, no render passing for a photo. Polished steel changes colour with the hour of the day.

“Listen and understand, so you can create.”
The workshop works with its doors open. Every order starts with a conversation — the piece is drawn for your space, your use, your time.
