base 130 cm

Shaped by hand from steel sheet, with oxidation guided in the open workshop. No two are alike.
Every Vitoria starts in pencil, among crossings-out and workshop arithmetic.
On the sketchbook page, the line sets the cut of the rim and the numbers that will become sheet steel: 160 in length, 130 at the base. That is where the piece exists for the first time — before the steel, before the fire.
Then the drawing crosses the bench. The sheets are cut and shaped, in the workshop's own time — no industrial mould, no hurry. The seams stay in plain sight: they are the stitching of the piece.
Oxidation is the signature. Instead of hiding the reaction of the metal, Galpón guides it, patch by patch, to the exact tone. The varnish seals that moment. That is why no two Vitorias are alike: each surface keeps its own history.

Sketch, dimensions and decisions — the piece drawn before it exists.
Cutting and shaping the steel by hand, seam by seam.
The reaction of the metal guided to the right tone — the signature of the piece.
The surface sealed at its exact moment, to last.
The photographs show the piece as it leaves the workshop. The light changes, the field changes — the steel answers. It is that living behaviour of the surface that the varnish preserves.

“Listen and understand, so you can create.”
The workshop works with its doors open. Every order starts with a conversation — the piece is drawn for your space, your use, your time.
