A single sheet folded in a zigzag: the backrest curves down, becomes the seat and rises again to the footrest. There is no leg and no frame.
The Chaise Antuñes is one single line, folded until it becomes furniture.
In the sketchbook it starts as a zigzag stroke — noted on 04/08/26 as “Divã Antuñes”. Two folds, three planes, and the drawing is already the piece: backrest, seat and footrest in one continuous sheet.
This is the model where the structure disappears entirely. No leg, no crossbar, no visible weld: what holds up 198 cm is the rigidity the fold itself gives the steel, like a sheet of paper that stiffens once creased.
A quilted raw wool mattress goes over the metal, made by hand. It follows the curve without being fixed to it — the wool rests on the steel, and it is taken off to reveal the bare sheet when you want to see the piece as sculpture.

Sketch, dimensions and decisions — the piece drawn before it exists.
Cutting and shaping the steel by hand, seam by seam.
The reaction of the metal guided to the right tone — the signature of the piece.
The surface sealed at its exact moment, to last.
With the wool it is a place to lie down; without it, a sheet-steel sculpture. The piece was drawn to work both ways.

“Listen and understand, so you can create.”
The workshop works with its doors open. Every order starts with a conversation — the piece is drawn for your space, your use, your time.
